Harry Gwala District Municipality
A municipal website and online recruitment channel, supported through to handover.
Delivered & handed overPACE ONLINE / CASE STUDY
A municipal website, Android app and staff portal connecting public information and service journeys.
Pace's direct website engagement with Msukaligwa combined redesign, content capture, migration, hosting and support. The work addressed public information alongside a separate municipal mobile app and administration portal, giving the municipality more than one route to residents.
The website programme used Joomla, YOOtheme and structured content tools. Following design and demonstrations in late 2022, the rebuilt site became the basis for staff training and a ticketed publishing service. Content updates and hosting support continued into 2026, including infrastructure migrations.
The Android application brought together municipal notices, news, vacancies, tenders, service alerts and fault-reporting journeys. Account and bill information, load-shedding information and statement workflows also formed part of the app and portal programme. Pace delivered design, development, releases, stakeholder demonstrations and training in 2022–2023.
The website currently operated by the municipality may differ from Pace's delivered version, and current app-store availability is separate from the original release record. This story concerns the direct website and mobile programme, rather than the older subcontracted communications work.
