Public information and internal communication

The municipality needed a public website for residents and stakeholders, and a separate intranet for its staff. Pace delivered both through a coordinated Joomla multisite implementation, with domain and hosting work, content migration and training included in the programme.

One programme, two audiences

The website and intranet went live in March 2022, followed by development sign-off and staff onboarding. Shared platform management supported distinct public and internal experiences. The engagement included monthly progress meetings and ongoing content publishing, keeping the people operating the systems involved after release.

Keeping the platform current

A three-year maintenance term covered hosting, support and upgrades, including the move to Joomla 5.2 and PHP 8.3. At the end of the engagement, backups and data handover supported transition to a new provider. This combined development and service model gave the municipality both new digital channels and a route to maintain them.
