A clearer route to municipal information
Pace worked as the design and development subcontractor to Matupunuka ICT for Bushbuckridge Local Municipality. An initial website build in 2021 was followed by a more substantial revamp, content migration and managed publishing service.
Rebuilding around documents and services
The revamped website launched in October 2023 on Joomla with YOOtheme and DOCman. Pace migrated content from the previous WordPress site and structured libraries for budgets, IDP, policies, performance reports and SDBIP documents. Supply-chain information, careers, leadership, news and service links gave different audiences clearer starting points.
The historical website tells the story
The Internet Archive's September 2024 capture shows the delivered structure: Documents, Supply Chain, Careers and MyMuni navigation, an Information Center and dated public notices. The footer credits Matupunuka ICT, reflecting the main-contractor relationship. This is the historical Pace engagement, not a claim of authorship of every later version of the municipal site.
A publishing service behind the pages
Hosting, infrastructure moves, content-upload tickets and monthly reporting supported the website after launch. The project combines front-end delivery with the recurring work needed to keep municipal information available and current.
